By using the Tripzy website, requesting a quote, or booking a holiday package with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
Tripzy is a South African tour operator based in Cape Town, and a proud member of ASATA (the Association of Southern African Travel Agents). We act as an agent in arranging travel services — including flights, accommodation, transfers, and tours — provided by independent third-party suppliers.
Quotes provided by Tripzy, whether through our online quote form, by phone, or via live chat, are indicative and subject to availability at the time of confirmation. A booking is only confirmed once:
Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed and paid for, due to factors such as currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, and supplier pricing changes.
Payment terms, including deposit amounts and final balance due dates, will be communicated to you at the time of booking and vary depending on the travel supplier's own policies. Full payment is generally required before travel documents are issued.
Cancellation and amendment policies are set by the individual airlines, hotels, and suppliers involved in your booking, and vary by package and rate type. Cancellation fees may apply and can range up to 100% of the booking value depending on how close to departure the cancellation occurs. Your consultant will confirm the specific cancellation policy applicable to your booking before you pay your deposit.
It is the traveller's responsibility to ensure they hold a valid passport (with the required minimum validity for their destination), any necessary visas, and to meet any health or vaccination requirements for their trip. Tripzy can advise on general requirements but recommends confirming specific entry requirements with the relevant embassy or consulate before travel.
We strongly recommend that all travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and lost baggage. Travel insurance is optional unless required by your specific destination or package, and is not automatically included in package pricing unless explicitly stated.
Tripzy acts as a booking agent between you and independent travel suppliers. While we take care in selecting reputable partners, the actual provision of flights, accommodation, and other travel services remains the responsibility of those third-party suppliers and is subject to their own terms and conditions.
